Finishing

Here we are at the end of April. Just about to wrap up the school year. It seems that the closer I get to summer break the farther it seems away. I am really looking forward to this summer's break. Mostly because 9th grade was a little more challenging then I had anticipated it to be. But being home schooled setting aside time to focus on single area of school is much more easily done than in public school. I am confident that my grades this year will not level up to my grades last year. Making straight A's in 8th grade gave me a boost in confidence. but it can be fiercely discouraging when you seem to fall so short the next year. But then again it's high school, their is a jump between 8th and 9th grade. Well, we will just have to wait and see what the grades turn out to be.

New Try

Here we are in December of 2011. Its been since March that I have posted on here. So I believe that I will set a goal. I am going to try at the beginning of the year, to start posting a substantive post once every week.
Not a single paragraph post. So we will see what we come up with at the beginning of the year.

Merry Christmas everyone!

2 Day Break

Well, I had to take a 2 day break from blogging. But I am back once again, and ready to ''type'' away.
My summary of the last two days has been a bunch of fun school. And I'm not being sarcastic it has been fun. I have been reading the Constitution of the United States. And I never knew the Legislative branch had so much power. I am ready to read about the Executive and the other. And I am hoping to have a good Saturday.

Wednesday Night

Wonderful preaching by Pastor Kevin Whitman last night, "Reaping day is on the way''.
And great chicken and rice (the rice was ''YELLOW'' rice). Wonderful day! Well, I don't know what else to say, so I must go.

New blog

Check out my new blog!

In Christ Alone

Learning: Patience

Yes, readers my mind is: blank. I was looking through my old posts trying to get an idea of what to write.
I had my title as ''Blank'' but I have decided to change it to: (READ ABOVE).

People that know me well. Know, that I am not the most patient person the Lord has ever placed on the face of this earth. And I am little proud of my impatience. And I know that you don't learn patience or how to control your temper in one night. But I have found the solution. Prayer, and reading your Bible. I have found that asking God to help you in this area proves helpful. And I know that asking God isn't going to work magic and all the suddenly ''I am very patient and you can't anger me''. I know that God teaches me and helps me knock off the rough edges. And bible reading I have found James 3 to be exceeding helpful. I know that I can't ''knock the rough edges'' by myself and that I always need God's help.

School

I am excited with school. Math, is my favorite, History has been exciting, Science has been interesting, and my Bible class has been great. And English has been challenging. But that is what I like about school. And I guess I did OK in my Science test I got a ''B''.

Tuesday perfect - New Month

Tuesday, it is always nice because you get good rest Monday night. And rise early (usually) get your school and house hold chores done. Then you usually have from 12:30 PM to whatever O'clock to do whatever you want. I hope that all my readers (though they may be few) have a fine and fabulous day. And God bless you.

Thunder and Lightening is not so frightening

Yes, it is! After a severe thunder storm I can say thunder and lightening is quite frightening.
Well, I am not very afraid of severe thunder storms, but they get on my nerves because 99.99 % of the time the power goes off. Then what do you do? You can't go anywhere, you can't cook anything, you can't go outside, but you can listen to a battery operated radio. Which is not fun.

But, thank the Lord it wasn't a tornado. Those things scare the stuffing out of me.
Well, need be going. Ready for school tomorrow, and to rise early.

Monday Mourning

Yes, its spelled ''Mourning'' purposely. I mourn because of this day. Not because of school, or chores, or other daily work. But because I am exhausted always on Monday.
Yet I am ready to hit the books and rise and shine at 7:00 AM. The only problem is that I missed the 7 O'clock hour. Looking for a good and blessed day.

Well, I must ''HIT'' the books. (I feel like literally hitting my English book.) But my Bible, Math, History, and Science classes I am ready to get too. I realize English is extremely important but it is so hard to remember ever modifier that modifies the modifier that modifies the...... Well, you get my point.

Tada!

Sunday Services

I would like to thank the Lord for the 2 Sunday services. But first I would like to mention the Sunday School lesson by Mrs.Ruby. I must admit the devil has made me doubt my salvation and each time I asked the Lord to show me if I was saved he always showed me that I was. But God really sealed the deal with Mrs. Ruby's Sunday School lesson. She taught on Deception: how that you can deceive yourself into believing that you are saved. She listed some ways based off the scripture and her own salvation how to know if you are saved or not. And God showed me and without a shadow of a doubt I know that I am saved. I just want to thank the Lord for that guarantee.

But I thank the Lord also for the 2nd Sunday service, about the Peril of Procrastination.
How that we need to obey God immediately. He used a chapter from I believe Exodus. He talked about Pharaoh and the 2nd plague how that when Moses asked him when he wanted him to send the frogs back to the rivers he responded: tomorrow. He talked about his problem with: (Priority), and other things. I thank God for the reminder to obey him and that we do not need to put off the things that God tells us to do. Thank the Lord for his mercy and grace.

No title - Variety

Well, readers, lately I have been feeling..... lets see what would best describe this........... uuuuuuuuuuuckkkkkkkkkkkk? Yep, I believe that covered it. And yes, my spellckeck shows that word as incorrect but alas. Well, as of now school has been..... well, dry besides math.
Well, thats the summary of my recent activity. But I have had a great week and I am happy. Well, thats the end of this post.
